These grab wire switches conform to the exacting standards required by the European harmonised standards for maximum reliability. Due to the flameproof enclosure of the contact block, any internal explosion that occurs will be contained within the enclosure.Contact block approvals: 112G EExd IIC T6 or T5 and 11 2D T80°C IP66.EEx equipment conforms to types of protection standardised by CENELEC (European standards), EN50014 and EN50018 respectively and BS5501 parts 1-V.The 440E Lifeline 4 has a rope status indicator, allowing for simple set up and easy maintenance. It also features a mushroom head emergency stop button for E-stop access at the extreme ends of the span, sealed to IP66. It has a positive mode mechanism, ensuring that the contacts are instantly latched open upon actuation. They can be reset only through intentional action by turning the blue reset knob. Rugged stainless-steel housing ensures that the Lifeline 4 can withstand harsh environments.How it works: Allen Bradley Guardmaster Rope Pull Switches have a steel wire rope which is connected to latching pull switches, so that when the rope is pulled in any direction along the length the switch is instantly tripped to stop the machine, minimising risk of injury and risk of damage to machinery.
