The EMAX Rotary Series features Soft-Start design which eliminates "hard-starts" and "full-load starts", maximizes energy efficiency, ensuring the performance and longevity of your equipment, and protects your power network. This EMAX Rotary Screw Compressor includes the patented swing arm dryer with coalescing filter. Soft-Start Performance is achieved through the use of top quality premium efficiency Wye-Delta Soft-Start Motors and special Modulated Valves in the air intake system. Our 12 lead Wye-Delta Soft-Start Motors ensure a "soft-start" by limiting the initial "in-rush" amp draw upon start and gradually applying full-Voltage until the motor is at full speed and "running" load. This maximizes energy efficiency, protects your contactors and motor, and eliminates the adverse effects of "hard-start" current surges. EMAX Rotary Screw Compressors are controlled by a Programmable Logistic Controller (PLC) Based Control System. This Controller will be integrated outside of the cabinet and is operated by an easy-to-use touch pad interface. The PLC will monitor and display critical data pertaining to the compressor's performance and provide emergency shut-down if necessary to prevent damage to the unit. The PLC also allows for programming of important maintenance procedures.
