Maintaining and replacing the filters in your RIDGID 6 Quart NXT Backpack Vac (HDB600; sold separately) is important for prolonging the life of your shop vac and keeping messes contained. The VFB102 replacement cloth filter will help do just that with its durable, mesh material and design. Use this shop vac filter along with the VFB600 dry filter bag (sold separately) to ensure the most accurate cleanup of your jobsite. Place the dry filter inside the cloth filter before placing both in the backpack vacuum, then turn on the backpack vac for use. The dry filter bag must be used in coordination with the cloth filter for dry pickups. Dry pickups include suctioning up dirt and other debris on medium or large-sized job sites – before, during and after construction. Do not use cloth filters or backpack vacuum for any wet pickups. This cloth filter can be washed, air dried, and reused as needed. Refer to owner’s manual for more details on filtration. If the filter becomes punctured or is torn, do not use and replace the filter.
