The Tripp Lite 1,000-Watt PowerVerter Compact Inverter for Trucks continuously supplies up to 1,000-Watt of 120-Volt AC power to 4 AC outlets from any 12-Volt battery. It features a lightweight, metal housing, which makes it ultra-portable, so you can take your power inverter with you from vehicle to vehicle or wherever you need to use your equipment. This unit includes permanent mounting brackets and the hardwired battery connections. However, it does not include the wiring required to connect to a vehicles battery, which must be purchased separately. Note: To protect against high current draw that may occur during inverter failure, a fuse link rated at 175 Amps should be positioned no more than 18 in. from the inverters battery in the positive line.
